This fall, come to the Open House at the Sutton School of Art offering free exhibitions and fun activities for the whole family!

École d'art de Sutton Journées de la culture Portes ouvertes

[Version française disponible] The Sutton School of Art is pleased to officially invite you to its Open House as part of the Journées de la Culture 2024. The event is free for the general public and will take place on September 27, 28 and 29 from noon to 4 p.m. at 79 Principal St. South in Sutton.

Meet our wonderful staff members!

We are delighted to invite families as well as our summer collaborators and partners to enjoy this festive weekend and meet our team and guest artists: Teprine Baldo, Iona Fournier-Tombs, William Desjardins and Michelle Pinard, Joa Beaudoin, Félix Provencher and Coralie Roy, Julie Méalin, Kim Craft, Amélie Bélanger and Fanny Desroches, Léa Mercante, Martin Laporte, Étienne Plante, Mikaël Theimer, Lhénia Gagnon, Pascale Nadeau, Cécile Martin, Jean-Hervé Désiré, Julie Valois, Nathalie Rivard, Fannie and Geneviève d’Extravaganz’arts..

Come and celebrate the arts with your family at this colorful event!

Exhibition programme : Collective works from the summer art camps 2024 (auction); L’exposition des plantes by Stéphanie Wang from the farm Le Rizen (finissage); The Lab-École le Zénith by the architecture firm Pelletier de Fontenay (last week-end). Discover also orginial paintings by Peter Schumann, founder of the Bread and Puppet theater. 

Free activities : visitors of all ages are invited to discover the Art Lab, a series of themes proposed by artist Camille Panchaud-Lefebvre. It’s an invitation to freely explore various techniques and mediums with friends. Enjoy a picnic by the Sutton river with the live music concerts.

Come celebrate the culture of the Eastern Townships and join us in supporting the artists involved in our local communities.
